Situated in the basement level of Al Bahr Towers, the 350 sq. ft. minimart was designed to maximize visibility, optimize flow, and create a clean, modern shopping experience for daily essentials — all delivered within a tight 10-day schedule.
Design & Material Highlights
The design followed a minimal aesthetic, emphasizing clarity, visibility, and space efficiency.
The chosen brand palette featured Umbra Grey tones paired with Natural Davis Oak Laminate, creating a warm, contemporary retail atmosphere.
Exterior Design
The storefront was finished with back-painted glass, giving it a polished, sleek appearance.
A clear polycarbonate folding door ensured the store remained visible even when closed, enhancing transparency and attracting foot traffic.
Interior Design & Detailing
A metal mesh false ceiling combined with oak laminate finishes defined functional zones and added subtle texture to the compact space.
Optimized shelving layouts provided clear product visibility and easy customer navigation.
The layout also incorporated a small janitor space for back-of-house storage and maintenance.
MEP & Technical Execution
The fit-out included mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works for main chillers and refrigeration equipment.
